My hubby refuses to consume beans. He loved this chili. I used worcester sauce instead of red wine vinegar the kickoff time and liked it better.

My son's preschool has an annual "hot dogs with dad supper." The only thing left on the sign up sheet was a crock pot of chili so I thought I'd better test this out earlier I subjected all of those three and four year olds and their daddies. I made this for about 10 people for dinner. (to get with hot dogs) Information technology got null but rave reviews from everyone--young and old. It's non spicy (which is really good for my needs) only had a lot of flavor. My husband said this is the only chili recipe he didn't feel the need to add a agglomeration of ketchup to. And then a success indeed. It volition be making its debut at the preschool in a few weeks!!

I'm kicking Hormel chili out the door! Home-made, healthy (no bugs or odds & ends to worry about down at the chili establish! ew!!) and my family really LOVED Frito-chili night. So FAST & EASY TO Make!! Our daughter will be making us this for chili dogs, Frito-chili, and anything else we tin can think to top information technology with, spaghetti? Nosotros served ours in big bowls with Frito chips on bottom, and so some shredded cheddar cheese, the chili, then some avacodos and onions, we were out of tomatoes so we omitted the thought for this time, the kids liked more cheese & some sour foam on acme. Blackness beans will be there side by side time --on the side. VERY Good! Put a bowl of condiments in the centre for anybody to personalize theirs!

I Love It! I substituted diced and whole tomatoes for the crushed tomatoes and mashed them with a white potato masher and used 1/iv tsp of garlic powder instead of fresh garlic and it turned out great with ingredients that I had on hand. This recipe is one that I'll use again.
08/10/2010
This chili turned out delicious! I didn't add the cerise wine vinegar and substituted it for one/8 cup worcestershire sauce. I also added garlic salt, common salt, and pepper. I used 1 one/2 lbs of meat considering I similar my chili with a lot of meat. Thanks for the recipe!
02/04/2008
My family liked the chili, I am from Ohio and nosotros don't believe that beans vest in chili...so I wanted to try your recipe. The merely thing we noticed was that it had a bit too much vinegar in information technology..I think next fourth dimension I will only reduce that a fleck. Overall, really good and really easy to make! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
02/05/2006
Because I alive in Holland and oasis't been able to find chili w/out beans in the grocery store -- I was so happy to discover this recipe -- and I had all the ingredients on hand. Yum - Yummy -- tastes then good -- even better than canned Hormel chili in my stance. The just affair differently I did was process the chili at the end - so that it had that good canned chili sauce texture. I served it on hotdogs and have enough leftover for our broiled potatoes tomorrow nighttime - Yippee!
05/01/2006
Great recipe. Lots of season. My kids detest beans so this was perfect for them. I did add some boosted seasonings but this was a great start.
09/21/2006
Can't stand up beans. This was fantabulous!
06/25/2009
Our new favorite! Omitted the vinegar, added h2o in information technology'due south place - and instead of canned tomatoes, used 10 fresh, ripe, peeled & chopped tomatoes. Wow! Talk nigh delicious! The flavour was then good, nosotros didn't even care that the texture wasn't exactly the same as canned. We didn't even wait to go out the stick blender to process it - nosotros just ate information technology! I allow it simmer on depression about an hr in a cast atomic number 26 deep fryer. I besides added i T. dark-brown carbohydrate, 2 T. molasses (we like our chili a fiddling sweetness) and 1 T. homemade prepared mustard. The recipe is very versatile and forgiving and easily tailored to one's tastes. No more canned chili for this family! Thanks so much!
04/07/2006
I don't like beans with my chili either, and so this was peachy. I prefer to employ it with crackers, biscuits, etc. I only used i/8cup of the vinegar, but it still came out fine.
01/08/2010
I used all the ingredients every bit posted. Then, after viewing other chili recipes added a can of green chilies(I minced in food processor along with onion at beginning), one small can tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and paprika. This was succulent! I dearest Frito pies but detest beans! This has saved me! :)
eleven/xi/2009
This was a bully recipe. My hubby can't stand beans, so this worked out very well. I cooked the meat on the stove with the seasonings and and then put everything in the crockpot on low for nearly four hours. Delish!!
02/06/2010
Almost double the spices are needed and unless you like vinegar please omit the cerise wine vinegar, it'due south too overpowering.
10/08/2011
Crawly! I made minor changes. Cooked onion and garlic in olive oil until onion was translucent. Added ground beefiness and cooked till near done. Added seasonings, stirred and cooked a bit longer then added balsmic vinegar to gustatory modality (not a lot) let that reduce down. Put diced tomatoes and crushed in crock pot with some green chilis. Then when meat was washed added that to crock pot. Let simmer on low for several hours. Very delish. A definite keeper!!
02/04/2011
this is neat as is, only I employ it as a base of operations. Added bell peppers and use fresh tomatoes instead of canned, and table salt. Used a little less vinegar, .5 lb. more meat, and splashes of worcestshire, liquid smoke, and cocoa powder.
xi/20/2010
We did non like at all! What ruined it for us was red vino vinegar. Did not gustatory modality correct to usa, flavour overpower the whole thing. Might try w/o vinegar, just wont make again as posted.
04/28/2012
Sorry, I did not care for this. I make and consume a lot of chili, this has no resemblance to traditional chili.
02/03/2010
This is a groovy chili recipe--easy and delicious! I didn't have whatever red wine vinegar, and so used about 1/8 loving cup balsamic vinegar and i/viii loving cup worcestshire sauce. Served it over spaghetti and topped with chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream. Perfect for a winter dinner! The chili had a chip more than of a kick to information technology than I was expecting, and so I retrieve next fourth dimension I'll cut back a chip on the hot pepper sauce just for the kids' sake. This night we're using the leftover chili to cook upwardly some chili dogs. Thank you!
01/06/2012
This was the worst tasting chili e'er and I love chili. Information technology had an overpowering vinegar sense of taste and fifty-fifty prior to calculation the vinegar the spices tasted off.
05/07/2010
Yummy & easy! I had been looking for a no edible bean recipe, and tweaked this ane a fleck by adding 1/4 tsp cinnamon and ane/4 tsp allspice, and a four oz tin can green chilies- fantastic! Don't unremarkably do that on the first fourth dimension I test -bulldoze a recipe, just it certainly worked out this time. THANKS for the awesome recipe Gina!
01/24/2011
I was looking for a bean free recipes with lots of season. My husband hates beans and it's difficult to find a expert chili without them. This recipe was only perfect. Lots of flavor and no beans = happy hubby. I did modify a couple of things. I used one more than clove of garlic because I just love garlic. I used diced tomatoes with jalepenos instead of crushed. I also used 1/two lb of ground beef and i/2 lb of footing turkey.
08/12/2010
I was so sure this would be great with all the rave reviews. I take to say I don't recall I volition be eating mine. As others have said, it is the consistancy of spaghetti sauce, has no rut (and I don't like chili too spicy--easily remedied though), and waaaaayyyyyy too much vinegar. I would reduce it to a couple tablespoons.
12/15/2013
This review is based on EXACTLY how the recipe was posted. I fabricated last evening on a common cold nighttime in Austin while friends were visiting. These meal is very simple and easy to make. All four of us were anxious to see how it turned out. And the three of them were quick to grab spoons and give a shot. I had to check facial expressions for a clear indicator. Immediately I saw 1 set of eyes slowly go up and into back of head followed past an "OH MY GOD...", then I simply say some other set shut and but heard a low moan with a YUM, and the third persons optics got big and told anybody.. "Talk to ya later" and but went to town devouring his bowl of this chili. I then took a spoonful and was instantly impressed from the starting time seize with teeth to the last scrape of my bowl! This recipe has four men who give it 8 thumbs up! Thanks for sharing this succulent homemade chili recipe!
10/04/2010
Best chili ever!!!!
12/01/2011
5 stars for sense of taste and simplicity! Later on 28 years of marriage, I just found out my married man doesn't similar beans in his chili! Who knew? Non me! I found this recipe and it was a hit all around. Perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I used ground pork, and instead of ruby wine vinegar, substituted 1/8 cup each balsamic vinegar and Worcester sauce. Served with cheese and sour foam.
05/09/2012
I choose this recipe because I love chili and based on the rating simply I would have to say, I had to throw most everything away. The vinegar was so overpowering. I doubled checked to run into if I had gotten it incorrect, simply no. I do similar vinegar, only not like this.
xi/01/2005
I fabricated this for my husband since he won't consume beans in chili. It turned out pretty good. Just, it would probably be a better recipe if used as a thick spagetti sauce. The recipe isn't spicy at all and needs well-nigh double the spices of what the recipe actually calls for. I have to give it 4 stars cause it does taste adept. I'll make it again merely for spagetti instead ... not chili.
09/01/2011
Information technology really could have used some green pepper. I didn't have hot sauce and so I added more chili pepper and also red pepper flakes. Not bad with biscuits.
ten/07/2012
My family unit enjoyed this recipe. I did not have any reddish wine vinegar and realized it a footling too belatedly. And so I just put about 3 tbs of regular vinegar in. Worked like a charm. this is a prissy thick recipe that is fabulous over rice. Kids and adults enjoyed information technology!!!
10/28/2008
This recipe was not to our liking at all. I followed the recipe exactly. Tasted like vinegar mush, non good. I tried to make it edible with more than garlic and added reddish pepper flakes and more than chili pulverization merely it didn't aid.
10/15/2008
I had to add another tsp of cumin, and 1/two tsp of oregano to get the flavor I wanted. I also nutrient candy it a bit to give it more of a canned chili texture.
03/x/2014
Used many of the suggestions that were made doubled the spices, used Worcester, and threw in a splash of dry out red wine. Also fire roasted some jalapeno. Tripled the whole thing it was absolutely amazing!!!!!
09/04/2010
This was pretty skilful
10/07/2010
This was really good, my dad doesn't like beans but loves chili. I added some red pepper flakes and actress hot sauce. Serve with cornbread YUM!
01/02/2010
This was really skillful! Neither my husband nor I care for beans in our chili and I needed a chili recipe for chili dogs. This was a dandy showtime - it definitely needed more chili pulverization and hot sauce than called for (and we don't particularly like things spicy) - only had to add lots more to make information technology taste like chili :) I had to substitute garlic for onion and it came out corking. I strongly recommend letting it simmer for as long equally possible! The simmering time helps reduce the sauce from the crushed tomatos so information technology is not soupy at all! We will definately exist making this one again!! Thanks!
ten/17/2009
Hubby doesn't like beans in his chili and this recipe hit a home run! The simply matter I inverse/added was 2 cans of Rotel diced tomates; added small-scale tin of V8; and i/2C of beer for liquid. Information technology was a HUGE hitting with our dinner guests last night. Served Grandma'south Buttermilk Cornbread from this site as a side...smashing meal. Thanks!
03/01/2010
This was a huge hitting with my family. I substituted pureed tomatoes for the crushed, and added some beef stew meat. Didn't take any chili sauce on hand then used red pepper flakes. Delish!!
05/10/2010
Flavor was just ok -- actually have to scout the meat stays in chunks, otherwise it turns out like a spread. That is what happened to me. Sorry.
11/ten/2010
My husband and I are not big bean eaters (he doesn't swallow whatsoever) and then I was looking for a recipe that was beanless just yet had that great chili gustation and this is it! We add more garlic & more hot sauce only that'southward just our personal preference. When I make it for guests we make information technology exactly equally stated and everyone likes it, even edible bean eaters don't miss the beans!!
08/12/2004
This Chili is the ABSOLUTE Best!!! I followed the instrutcions exactly. It was quite like shooting fish in a barrel, and my whole family LOVED information technology! The only problem is there were no leftovers. I'll accept to make a double batch side by side fourth dimension.
ten/29/2008
I thought this was a very tasty chili, with simply a couple of modifications on my part. I used about 1/8 loving cup apple tree cider vinegar (because that's what I had on hand). I had purchased chili-ready tomatoes, which already had some spices and seasoning in them, just I still used all the recommended spices from the recipe. Considering of this, it came out adequately spicy, but very skillful! I besides placed it in the blender after information technology was done to give it a "creamier" texture and more suitable to peak our hot dogs.
01/17/2011
I dear chili only I hate beans. But omitting beans from about recipes results in soupy chili but this was SO yummy. Married man loves beans but notwithstanding liked this recipe.
12/03/2004
Maybe there is a difference in Texas Chili and others, simply I just didn't care for this. Information technology was sweet and didn't take that hearty flavor that I await for in chili. And equally far every bit mixing it with rice, chili should exist able to stand lonely and exist great.
03/31/2009
Very adept! Hearty and no beans! I added extra tbsp of chili powder to make this even more spicy, and also subbed worcestershire sauce instead of vinegar (every bit someone else did). This looks like spaghetti sauce when you first make it, but afterward simmering for 1.5 hours information technology turns into a rich brown colour that looks and smells and TASTES like real skillful chili!
10/03/2011
The exact recipe (which I originally followed) wasn't the best for us. However, it did become a dandy BASE for a no beans chili. In the terminate, I had to add so many different ingredients that information technology became a totally unlike recipe. Thank y'all for sharing though.
10/06/2013
I didn't like this. Later letting it simmer, it tasted like nothing more than than a very acidic pasta sauce. The ruby-red wine vinegar was incredibly strong, then much that even the chili pulverization couldn't shine through. I had to counter information technology with beef broth, night brown sugar, a clasp of honey, Worcestershire sauce, cinnamon, onion powder, cayenne, and extra chili pulverization and cumin for it to taste like chili. I cook for a man who does not enjoy nutrient that is ultra spicy just he likes some spice, and before doctoring information technology up he tested it and felt it was as well weak and acidic even for him. In the end, it resembled nothing like the original recipe.
03/xiv/2008
This tasted like beef and chili pulverisation. Information technology needs a lot more than flavour. I think it would sense of taste practiced on a hotdog.
11/22/2008
This was a actually tangy tomatoey chili. Mild as far every bit spice. I had to add a lot of hot sauce to mine at the tabular array, but husband liked his fine. I prefer a lot more spice and sweat in mine, simply it was good yet, and I don't mind calculation hot sauce at the table to get it to my liking. This was good, but didn't make our favorites. Thanks for sharing your chili, I'm e'er upwardly for trying a new chili recipe and I enjoyed this ane!
03/25/2009
Ended upward having to double this recipe because information technology ended up making less than I thought. I will definitely brand this once again. Tastes great with cornbread.
ten/29/2014
Distressing, this wasn't a striking in our house. It was very banal.
12/23/2011
Made it, loved it. Served it over fritos - Texas way - and everyone gobbled it up. Information technology's super piece of cake to make and would be corking on hotdogs or even over rice. My kids couldn't go plenty! Thanks Gina!
09/thirty/2009
I needed a chili recipe for chili dogs. This was good, but needed more spice - it didn't have enough of a real "chili" season. I substituted the vinegar for worcestershire sauce as some suggested, but I won't next time, as it made it gustatory modality more than like sloppy joes than chili.
12/29/2011
Keen recipe! My 11 y/o and two y/o love information technology! I added chopped bell pepper and cilantro. Cheers GINAGINA
05/ten/2010
Delicious-same thing as some others have said-people in the family don't like beans. Needed a good chili for a cold spring night. I added a loving cup of frozen corn, topped with sour cream and cilantro. Corn bread and salad on the side. Everyone loved it.
10/10/2011
I think the cerise wine vinegar threw it off. Side by side time, I will effort it without the red vino vinegar and I will utilize tomato sauce instead of crushed tomatoes.
12/xiii/2010
Followed the recipe but added greenish peppers, half a tin can of diced tomatoes and a fiddling actress chili powder for more flavor. My girlfriend enjoyed it more than than I did simply we both concur that we would make it again. Probably equally proficient as it gets without beans and thats ok cause I detest beans :)
03/14/2005
Very tasty and like shooting fish in a barrel to make. I don't like beans either so this recipe is perfect. I omitted the red wine vinegar, yet. It'southward not likewise spicy, which is fine by me, but you tin can conform the spices to your taste. This is a keeper.
09/23/2007
My husband loves chili without beans. This was deliscious. He kept getting up for merely a little more. Will make again frequently.
02/09/2009
Great recipe we actually loved it. Although I really beloved chili I have never managed to brand one that I like. That is until now. Even better my son liked information technology and didn't in one case mutter information technology was to spicy. I beloved spice and accept a difficult time figuring out what is non spicy for him. I forgot to add the hot sauce to the chili and it was just right for my children. I can e'er add some to my ain bowl. We practise like beans in our chili. I ran out of time to put some beans on to melt and didn't have fourth dimension to run to the store for some canned beans. So this was perfect for u.s.. The only trouble was it didn't make very big serving sizes. Next time I will take to double or triple the recipe so we have plenty and maybe plenty to take to work the next 24-hour interval. Wonderful recipe. Cheers!!!
02/07/2011
This is skillful. To feed 8 people, I altered it with: ii pounds of cubed stew meat, ane 1/two onions, no pepper sauce, Worcester sauce instead of wine vinegar, ii 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes, 2 xiv.5 oz cans of chili ready diced tomatoes, and iii chopped green bong peppers. Everything else was the aforementioned. Optional cheese on the side was for sprinkling on pinnacle. I served the chili with corn bread muffins from the Dannon yogurt website, equally they are the best corn muffins always.
09/21/2004
turned out tastier than i thought! With a bare pantry this was the perfect matter to make! the only affair i added was some chopped dark-green peppers and hot sauce. perfect in a tortilla with cheese.
xi/25/2008
Very good! My boyfriend won't swallow beans, and then I was in need of a good chili recipe without beans. It was fifty-fifty better the side by side day, then I call up I'll allow it simmer fifty-fifty longer adjacent time. I doubled the cumin, added 1/two c chopped light-green pepper, and used worcestershire sauce instead of vinegar.
07/07/2014
I absolutely can't stand the texture of beans, but I dear the taste of chili. I entered this chili in a melt-off at church building and anybody loved it. It'due south succulent!
01/17/2005
Great flavor! I added water to brand mine more "soupy" and then used a mitt-blender on it before serving to blend together the tomato pieces and onions and give it torso. Also, I found organic fire-roasted crushed tomatoes at the store, and those really worked well in this.
08/31/2008
Great recipe. Although, I am leaving out the vinegar--it was too much and I had to had a lot of sugar to counteract information technology. Only I am trying it without the vinegar and putting in a bit of cocoa and more hot sauce to make up for the vinegar. Thank you for the recipe!
11/08/2007
I fabricated this chili with ground turkey and my family loved it! Will definitely be making this again
12/fourteen/2011
I did not like this chili at all. It tasted like I was bitter into a tomato plant. It was so potent-I had to put some hot sauce into it to make it less potent. Overall, I thought the tomato taste was very overwhelming.
01/05/2009
Yum! Although I did tweak it a little ... Opted for a can of diced tomatoes (undrained), and a can of tomato paste instead of the tomatoes called for in the recipe. I also left out the vinegar, replacing that with 1/4 cup water. I added 1 tsp of common salt besides, which fabricated it a tad salty ... I'd effort 1/2 tsp if I were you. Followed everything else co-ordinate to the recipe though and it turned out great! Perfect chili for the "anti-bean" oversupply!
03/21/2009
I have been looking for a adept hot dog chili for a long time and this is information technology.
12/17/2009
Everyone in my house LOVED it. Thanks
12/05/2009
I love chili and was getting set to brand information technology for a family unit party. My married man says we don't like beans. So, I found this recipe and anybody LOVES it. I've made it so many times because its uncomplicated ingredients are always on paw! I will sometimes use balsamic vinegar and that's great as well!
09/03/2004
This is the all-time Chili I've always had! Information technology's great if yous substitute venison also
01/24/2015
This is unlike any chili I've ever had. It tasted kinda like spaghetti sauce with meat and I followed the recipe exactly. I grew upwardly in the southeast. Possibly dissimilar parts of the country are use to a dissimilar tasting chili. I didn't treat information technology at all.
10/29/2007
It was okay, seemed to accept likewise much of a vinegar flavour, but served over hot links was good. Next time I volition probably cut down on the vinegar, also just made well-nigh iv servings when I had it prepare for vi.
eleven/02/2008
I kind of used this recipe as a starting off point for my own. I didn't utilise vinegar, as that seemed kind of odd to me. I did accept advantage of a turkey chili recipe on this site, and used the seasonings suggested there. I added half a green bell pepper, most of a packet of hot cocoa, liquid smoke, worchestershire, chili pulverisation, and ground red pepper. I kept everything else the aforementioned. Simmered for about two hours.
01/03/2012
I tin agree with earlier reviews about the vinegar content... Way too acidic in the end. Although afterwards a little doctoring (added a can of rotel w/habeneros and a lot more seasonings) it was skillful.
06/10/2009
This was admittedly fabled! We don't care for beans, then it was great to find a recipe of an erstwhile favorite suited for us. I took the advice of other reviewers and only added 1/iv cup of the vinegar. Turned out great. Give thanks you!!
05/12/2007
Love this! I brand a batch on Saturday and my husband brings information technology to work for lunches.
07/31/2011
Love the cerise wine in this recipe. Think it makes all the difference. My recipe was slighty modified since I used footing deer meat - but the main change was that I added two pinches of cinnamon and used a purpose onion. Ate over crushed Saltines with cheese and sour cream. Yum!
10/02/2004
I enjoyed the chili, but it reminded me a lot of sloppy joe filling. It was an like shooting fish in a barrel recipe and it did taste expert, only i will try other recipes before i think near making this one once more.
01/27/2013
My boyfriend does not like beans but I love chili so I decided to try this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and my boyfriend and I both agreed information technology's more similar pasta sauce with a bit of spice rather than Chili. Equally a chili it was terrible which is what I'm rating information technology for. I may actually brand information technology as my spaghetti sauce next time though.
06/24/2009
loved information technology! I've been looking for a no beans chili and was happy to find this one! Everyone had seconds!
11/08/2007
Good chilli, Not enough bang for my gustatory modality though
09/13/2009
Was very happy to discover a chili recipe that my boyfriend (who won't eat beans) and I (who loves beans) could both agree we liked! This was very easy and tasty. We'll be making this over again with the common cold, winter months approaching!
02/02/2008
The best chili nosotros've ever eaten!!
01/16/2012
My wife and I both practice non like beans in our chili. This recipe was actually like shooting fish in a barrel and turned out fantastic. Information technology'south got a sweetness too it that is very pleasing just might exist ameliorate set off against a piddling more hot. Next time I might add some more hot sauce. Besides I doubled the garlic.
05/26/2009
I take always hated beans in chili, and luckily came across this recipe. I absolutely LOVE it. I followed another reviewer by adding worchester sauce instead of the red wine vinegar only because I didnt take it in the house. Left everything else the aforementioned and its perfect! I make this about once a week! My husband, at first, threw a tantrum because the worlds catastrophe "there are no beans in it." But after he tried it, he really liked it as well. Said it was a tiny scrap spicy for him, merely I idea it was just right.
05/09/2009
I have been looking for a recipe to supercede Hormel and I accept finally found it! So far I have put it on my dogs with mustard and onions, my nachos supreme, every bit a dip for fritos and I am so excited to do so much more. As e'er I have made it as written merely information technology the possibilities are countless- jalapenos, light-green peppers, ground turkey, dear it, love information technology, beloved it!!!
12/08/2008
The only affair I did unlike was utilise majority sausage instead of basis beefiness, and crushed blood-red pepper flakes since I was out of hot sauce. I was a little turned off at how tangy information technology was with all of that vinegar at start, merely after a few more than bites I couldn't stop eating information technology. I really enjoyed the big tomato "punch" it had. It is neat over rice. Pollex up!
07/07/2007
Pretty adept. I doubled the spices which gave it a nice kick and my husband who hates beans thought it was skillful. The taste wasn't 100% what I'thousand looking for, just close enough that I can try to tweak it!
03/ten/2009
I fabricated this for a houseguest who doesn't eat beans, and he like it a lot! It was very piece of cake to make and tasted just as good equally my usual recipe with beans. I used organic Burn down Roasted Crushed Tomatoes past Muir Glen that added a nice roasted flavor. We sprinkled cheddar cheese on elevation and I used the Excellent and Healthy Cornbread recipe from this site to go along the side- too very good!
eleven/08/2009
I really, actually wanted to like this because most of u.s. in my family exercise not like beans. Nonetheless, to us, this tasted more like a spaghetti sauce. I tried adjusting spices to taste more similar chili, but I never actually could. :(
04/28/2005
Son won't eat beans and loved this chili. Fifty-fifty picky daughter ate it. Did cut down on the vinegar.
09/10/2009
Just finished making this, merely with many (what I considered to be poor) substitutions and information technology notwithstanding came out great! I had to use minced onion instead of fresh, and I used a can of tomato plant sauce instead of tomatoes and chopped upwards a few ruddy tomatoes I had on hand. I also used the Worchestershire sauce instead of vinegar similar someone suggested. We like spicy, then I as well added a few Chipotle peppers I needed to utilise up. It was and so easy and tasted great, I didn't fifty-fifty miss the beans! I was really expecting it to plow out badly since I didn't have some of the ingredients it called for, so I'm sure information technology's even ameliorate when you make it correctly! Nosotros put it over hot dogs and hamburgers and it was very good.
01/28/2014
Tried this recipe for the kickoff time tonight. Family of six and everyone loved information technology. Next fourth dimension I volition have double the recipe wasn't quote enough so I had to brand angle hair noodles with it then there would exist enough for anybody. Niggling leftovers simply not much and then next time i will make more so in that location volition be leftovers.
11/12/2008
I doubled the amount of chili powder and cumin and added 2 tsp. of cocoa pulverization. This was easy and a big hit with my family unit.
11/26/2006
Awesome Chili - we added in sliced jalapeno peppers for an extra zing!
03/30/2009
I'grand trying out a no-carb nutrition and I've been dying for some chili. The no-beans recipe caught my eye.
